Debasis Bandyopadhyay M.Tech (Computer Science)

Debasis Bandyopadhyay, M.Tech (Computer Science) has over 25 years of experience in different industry segmentsand technology areas including telecommunication, IT, embedded systems, satellite systems and RADAR. His core competency is Information Security & Data Privacy. He has published and presented research papers in IEEE conferences on security and privacy of mobile cloud computing in India and abroad. He was awarded as a best session presenter at the IEEE conference in Bali, Indonesia. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). His other professional certifications include PMP® (Project Management Professional), CCSK® (Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge), ITIL® and TOGAF®. He is a senior member of IEEE. His other professional memberships include PMI, ACM and DSCI (Data Security Council of India – an initiative of NASSCOM). Debasis has a keen interest in academia, research and training activities in Information Security, Data Privacy and Cloud Computing. Currently he is associatedas a visiting faculty member of BITS (Pilani) – Kolkata Center, where he is training the working professionals of large IT industry in master degree programs in computer science. He was a visiting faculty member of ECE Dept. of Jadavpur University, Purabi Das School of Information Technology under IIEST, Shibpur and B. P. Poddar Institute of Management & Technology.
